We proudly present our sixth POSSEN hero; jazz musician Benjamin Herman. Hardworking living jazz legend, classical dandy, awarded best-dressed man, inspirational bandleader, but above all a loyal friend with high regard for the tailoring tradition.

Born in London, Benjamin moves to Amsterdam at a young age where he grows up destined to become an inspirational musician, performing from the age of 12 and loving it.

As a pioneer in the Dutch jazz scene Benjamin has received many awards, both solo as with the New Cool Collective. Happily grooving on 30 years of fame thanks to his wide repertoire firmly rooted in the jazz tradition, ranging from dance floor jazz, surf and punk music to free jazz, Latin, salsa, afrobeat and boogaloo, attracting adventurous music fans of all genres as well as straight-ahead jazz aficionados.

From a young age, Benjamin’s fashion style radiates a sense of perfection, the care for details and continuous striving for 'meticulousness'. We always look forward to our epic styling sessions with Benjamin where we compose his wardrobe for his new touring season; from ultimate cool double-breasted full canvas pinstriped suits to soft houndstooth wool and cashmere tweed suits to soft tailored all-cotton pink suits.
