Specially for entrepeneurs on February 5, 2003 the successful Regional Entrepeneurs Conference was held in the Meervaart in Amsterdam. The theme of the conference: FOCUS on Entrepeneurship. The main goal of this conference is practical information for entrepeneurs. For that matter next to Hans de Boer, chairmain of the Dutch Association for SME’s, and Geert Dales, alderman Economic Affairs for the City of Amsterdam, six top entrepeneurs present their experiences:

- Maarten Frankenhuis - General Manager Artis Zoo
- Bas Possen - Owner/CEO Possen Fashion
- Michael Bleekemolen - Owner/CEO Bleekemolens Raceplanet
- Ricus Mortier - Owner/CEO Consolid
In his presentation Bas Possen discussed with the audience about Internet solutions for small and medium-sized enterprises and user friendly websites. Of course therefore he gave a close look on the in-house developed and implemented software modules at Possen Fashion that realize a seamless integration between weavers, ateliers and retailers aimed at successful mass-customized fashion products on a large scale that are affordable and delivered with short lead times.
