Through an innovative and unique business concept Possen Made-to-Fit is specialized in tailor-made suit, shirts and ties for gentlemen and tailor-made suits and blouses for ladies. With our long history since 1969 and expertise in the area of tailor-made fashion for ladies and gentlemen gained over the years, we have become one of the most authoritative made-to-measure specialists in the Benelux.

Possen Fashion operates as a Travelling Tailor. As market leader in the Netherlands in the higher segment for tailor-made suits and shirts, we do not only deliver made-to-measure products of a top quality to our clients, but also an unprecedented and personal service.

Possen Fashion produces directly with the most renowned fabric weavers and ateliers in Italy, Scotland, Germany and France. Every season we work with a most comprehensive and up-to-date fabric collection and one of the main factors of success for our company is reliability in the areas of short delivery times and a strong price-/quality ratio.

Our clients

The clients of Possen Fashion are private persons as well as companies that are visited by appointment only throughout the entire Benelux and occasionally also in countries like Switzerland, England and Germany. Our clientele is varied and ranges from graduates choosing their first suit to partners of law firms that request Possen Fashion to manage their complete wardrobe. Amongst our clientele we count successful entrepreneurs, top professionals, captains of industry, entertainers and sportsmen. Accordingly, our travelling tailors have a strong personality and a good insight into human nature as well as strict tact and discretion to be able to serve all our clients in an appropriate manner.

Our clients do not only choose their business outfits at Possen Fashion, but often also their (smart) casual outfits for dinners, yachts and country houses. Our travelling tailors know their clients well and consult them with the composition of their wardrobe and are pro-active in advising the most suitable fit, model and options. High quality made-to-measure does not only meet certain characteristics of a good fit. Above all a perfect suit and shirt is geared to the personal wishes of the client. Only in a one-to-one conversation, in which the travelling tailor focuses on personal preferences, wearing comfort and demands concerning quality, look and feel, it will become clear what the most suitable tailor-made product for a client is.

Our travelling tailors

The travelling tailors of Possen Fashion are independent entrepreneurs that have acquired an exclusive Possen-license. They have many years of experience in fashion retail and demonstrable expertise with made-to-measure fashion.

On the one hand the travelling tailors are an integrated part of our organisation and on the other hand they are independent and responsible for their own region, clientele and revenues. As such our travelling tailors as well as use the advantages of our organisation and Possen-brand, but also have an entrepreneurial perspective on a high income with good performance.

Flexibility, accessibility and professionalism are the most important characteristics of our travelling tailors. Of course next to a spotless presentation, proven craftsmanship, insight into human character and a passion for fabrics and made-to-measure of the highest quality. The travelling tailors of Possen Fashion give service of an unconditional and absolute top quality.

Above all our travelling tailors are self-starting and entrepreneurial. By showing initiative and commercial talent, as well as their motivation to further extend the Possen-brand and organisation, they create their own success.

With their Possen-license, the travelling tailors work in their own region, but also can be requested to support in other regions (e.g. for large clients or in the busy season).

Based on the first contact, a motivational letter, references and a more in-depth telephone conversation, several interviews will be planned. Next, after a mutual positive conclusion, the second round is started in which selected candidates present a business plan for their region of choice. After agreement on this so-called regional plan, the candidate enters the third round of extensive training in the areas of product technique (measuring, models, options, fabrics), logistics, commerce and reporting/administration. After successfully completing this final phase, the candidate and Possen Fashion will sign a travelling tailor cooperation agreement.

Existing independent fashion retailers in the higher segment that, next to their existing store, are interested in building a traveling-tailor practice in their region under a Possen-license, are expressly invited to respond.
