The Ideal Man - fashion for real men

´A man should look as if he had bought his clothes with intelligence, put them on with care, and then forgotten all about them.´ — Sir Edwin Hardy Amies (1909 — 2003), founder of Savile Row fashion house Hardy Amies in London.
Until October 26th 2008 you can visit a magnificent exhibition on men´s fashion in the wonderful
Gemeentemuseum van Den Haag . The fashion collection of the Gementemuseum already is one of most important collections in the world, but now the museum excels with fashion for real men.
The complete team fashion consultants of Possen enjoyed the 18th century brightly coloured and extravagantly patterned habits à la francaise combined with spectacular contemporary outfits from the latest collections of celebrated designers like Jean-Paul Gaultier, Vivienne Westwood, Kilgour, John Galliano, Bernhard Willhelm and Walter van Beirendonck.
Of course, the many wonderful (tailormade) suits gave us a lot of inspiration and on the wonderful terrace of the nice next door bar Gember, right at the pont of the Gemeentemuseum, we sat and talked long afterwards enjoying a nice glass of wine.
And do not forget to relish the beautiful building by the hand of architect H.P. Berlage, a monument and climax in modern architecture.
In case you do not find the time to visit this exhibition,
at your appointment with one of our fashion consultants they gladly share what they have seen.
