Dormeuil .
Founded in 1842 in France by Jules Dormeuil, in the last decades this exclusive weaver focuses on the absolute top in fabric qualities. Dormeuil-fabrics are famous for their wrinkle reconditioning ability, durability, unique colour intensity and unprecendented wearing comfort.
Determinative for the Dormeuil-quality is the use of two ply thread in both the filling threads and the warp threads, the so-called ´finish´ (the secret method of washing and drying of the woven lengths) and the special pre-shrink-method. 90% of the Dormeuil collection is woven in England, the remaining 10% in Italy.
In the next weeks the new Dormeuil autumn collection will arrive. The new designs are magnificent, from daring donegals and exclusive fibres such as pashmina, vicuna and guanashina
to the world famous classic lines such as Royal 12 and Amadeus.
