Kaiser Chiefs in Possen Tweed!?

Some of the Possen fashion consultants from May 30 till June 01 visited the oldest existing pop festival in the world:
Pinkpop in Landgraaf .
In the past months they measured and delivered cut-to-the-bone made-to-measure suits and shirts to hundreds of satisfied clients throughout The Netherlands. Now it was time to relax lying in the grass with an ice cold beer enjoying the sun and listening to live music.
As expected Metallica, Foo Fighters and the Counting Crows were highlights. But the Danish Saybia, the British indie rockers of the Editors and the Dutch band Voicst treated the audience on splashing shows.
Of course our fashion consultants enjoyed the crowd of which many had dressed up with great care in self-willed outfits. Especially those that had chosen vintage jackets, extreme shirts and short-knotted college ties.
But they were most impressed by the perfectly tailored suits of The Hives from Sweden and the masterpiece Tweed jacket of singer Ricky Wilson of The Kaiser Chiefs, the English band from Leeds that had its worldwide breakthrough in 2004 with their pure English indie rock.
Back in the Possen showroom on Monday, they immediately traced the fabric and of course this wonderful soft grey Tweed design with a big check can be found in Possen Made-to-Fit collection. Some tailormade jackets were ordered straight away, of course with the black velvet contrast collar and in a couple of weeks Amsterdam will have its own Ricky Wilson look alikes. Of course with matching black skinny jeans, all star sneakers and Fred Perry polo (in whatever plain colour).
Do you fancy your own self-willed tailormade wintry Tweedjacket in the middle of the Summer?
